Good performance by our mens side who secured 3 important points to stay close to the top of the ladder, and with Stirling Braza losing against Murdoch Warriors, La Cumbre shorten the difference to 4 points.
The game saw Cumbre stars Yazid Omar and Tyler Garner playing their last game with the club and they did it in dominating fashion leading with team with fast pace, clinical passing and endless shots that made Joondalup GK player of the match despite losing. Raising stars Patrick Koi, Jaydin Watson and Daniel McMullan were strong from the bench proving that they are ready to take the spots of Garner and Omar. This season signings Chandra Nagendran and Bakr Zeyad continue to gain confidence and consolidate themselves in the team.
Next week it is Derby week where La Cumbre will look to turn the page and face Stirling Braza Ginga at round 17 looking to close the gap on the ladder.
